Steven A. Miller
Broadly speaking, I am interested in how individuals differ from one another. Specifically, I am interested in how these differences relate to emotional experiences. This has led me to more specific areas of substantive research, as well as to research on methodological issues. The areas I feel are most characteristic of my work include: (1) emotion; (2) personality and individual differences; (3) philosophy of science; (4) psychological measurement; (5) psychopathology, especially anxiety and depression; (6) relationships between emotion and cognition; and (7) statistical and methodological issues.
